My Process

Discover

Come say hello! To kick things off, I’ll send through a few questions so I can fully understand you, your business, your customers and most importantly, your vision. We’ll look into the nitty gritty of what you do and don’t have (such as your domain name, hosting etc) and I’ll guide you through the initial planning phases.

Design & Build

The fun part! After research and mapping out your site to best serve your audience, I’ll start the website build. Design, layout, user experience – the works.

You will have the opportunity for two feedback and refinement rounds to ensure everything is just right. Once the final design is approved, I’ll test functionality and triple check your site is optimised and SEO friendly.

Launch

Get your favourite Spotify playlist cranking and celebrate as we get ready to hit launch on your new website! But don’t worry, I’m not leaving you just yet. I’ll prepare video tutorials to walk you through the backend of your website leaving you fully equipped and confident.

What if what I want is not listed in your standard inclusions?

My basic options are listed above to give you an idea of whats included, but I will always discuss your website with you to find out the ins and outs and provide a tailored proposal that will meet your specific needs. Fire me a message so we can start the conversation.

What does a website cost?

Every website is different and I will talk you through your options when preparing your quote however, to give you a ballpark, most clients spend between $2-8K AUD.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payments are split into two parts, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and get things started with the remaining 50% due prior to your website launch. If for some reason this is not possible for you, I am open to discussing payment plans on a case by case basis. However final payment must be received before the website goes live.

Do I need to live in Australia to work with you?

Not in the slightest. If you can use a phone, write an email or jump on a zoom call – then I can work with you. With all this tech wondery at our fingertips it allows me to work with businesses all over Australia, New Zealand and beyond!

Do you offer hosting or ongoing management?

You bet I do. I offer 3 different levels of care plans which include hosting, security, updates, support and backups to ensure your site performs at its best. Visit Website Hosting & Maintenance for more info.

How will I know what to do with my website?

Easy – I’ll show you! All of my packages include video tutorials which you will receive post launch, these recordings demonstrate how you can edit and make your own changes, add blogs, news pages or products in your own time.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, I usually book out in advance but this will usually work in your favour. Content collation and preparation can take time, so booking ahead of time means you can then use that valuable time to work through your questionnaire and get all your ducks in a row. Simply shoot me a message and I’ll let you know what my availability is like.

What do I need to do?

Initially, a few things. Preparation is key so once we’ve had our discovery chat and you’ve accepted my contract, you will need to complete my client questionnaire. This covers a range of topics, all of which will help guide me through your website design and build to ensure your site hits its targets. Content (images and text) will need to be provided before we get started on the design, if you’re in need of assistance with either I can recommend some fantastic copywriters and photographers you can work with.

WordPress is not a set-and-forget platform. It requires regular maintenance and updates to keep your site secure, running smooth and fast so you never have to worry.

Keep your website in check with one of my maintenance plans. I’ll look after the website, backups, plugins and security leaving you free to work on the things you love.
